The LASER CLASS 730i sits at the top of the LASER CLASS 700 Series and is intended for high-volume faxing environments. The LASER CLASS 730i offers standard internet faxing, 19 ppm desktop and network printing, network scanning, up to 1500 pages (40 MB) of standard document memory, a standard 600 sheet paper capacity, 1200 dpi print resolution and 11” wide scanning. A 500-sheet letter size cassette is available as an option.

- Printer and Fax machine in one! The LASER CLASS® 730i has the engine of a 1200 dpi laser beam printer inside giving the device true printing capability. The LASER CLASS 730i® has a standard PCL® 5e/6 printer board making it a stand-alone facsimile system and a parellel printer at the same time. The LASER CLASS® 730i also comes standard with the 10/100 base-T Network board to become a powerful network printer and scanner. Canon's exclusive top-loading FX-7 Cartridge and 12 hour battery backup is included with every machine increasing machine value.
- High Performance Networkable Multifunction Systems The LASER CLASS® 730i has Internet Faxing, PC Faxing, Network Scanning and Printing with 19 ppm printing, 35 spm scanning, and 1200 dpi printing resolution.
- Internet Fax: Internet enabled fax machines allow the user to convert scanned documents into file formats that are easily transported over the Internet or the company intranet. With the help of push scan technology, internet fax allows users to send data to E-mail address destinations, other I-fax-capable machines, network or host folders and files, and to document management systems. Internet Faxing bypasses the public switched telephone network and allows users to send scanned documents over the Internet as E-Mail attachments using the customer's established data network infrastructure to carry information. It offers many advantages, such as, the simultaneous and instantaneous distribution of information, maintains document and image quality, increases productivity, and it is virtually free!
- High Quality, High Speed Output is standard on the LASER CLASS® 730i. 19 page per minute printing with 1200-dpi resolution. All prints are enhanced by Automatic Image Refinement (AIR) Technology, resulting in superior image quality.
- 33.6 Kbps Dual Line Option provides twice the fax line power and performance of standard facsimile machines. Send or receieve two faxes at once, or send and receive simultaneously. Both the primary and secondary fax lines operate at 33.6 Kbps.
- Super G3 Technology featuring JBIG compression significantly reduces phone line charges by transmitting data at 33.6 Kbps, 35-scan-per-minute document scanning or 1.1 seconds per page transmission saves time and money while increasing fax productivity. Quick On-line Transmission further speeds faxing productivity by intiating the fax process and beginning document transmission as soon as the first original has been scanned.
- Productive Document Feeding via the 70-sheet Automatic document Feeder. The Dual Access feature enhances fax productivity by allowing for transmission reservation during reception and memory transmission, and memory reception and transmission while the fax is in use as a convenience copier.
- High Volume Paper Capacities The LASER CLASS® 730i comes standard with 600 sheet paper supply and the optional paper supply raises the total to a maximum of 1,100 sheets. Two 250-sheet front-loading letter/legal cassettes, one 500 sheet letter paper tray and a 100-sheet multi-purpose tray are included. The multi-purpose tray allows for various paper sizes and types.
- Up to 1500 pages*** A total of 1500 pages*** of fax memory is standard with the LASER CLASS® 730i.
- UHQ VI Image Processing technology ensures the transmission of superior images by distinguishing between graphics and text on outgoing documents. 256-shade Grayscale and Edge Enhancement technologies transmit photos and graphics with excellent clarity.
